😔 I'm hoping the next book is more entertaining. The book focuses on many of the same issues that students and teachers are dealing with now, and it really brings light to how the classroom really is a place to learn so much more than the subject matter. I thoroughly enjoyed Still Jim. It was a good mystery, and not so nasty with tons of cursing. I don't understand why some authors think that makes a better book. I would recommend anybody to read it....

I enjoyed this book and although the subject matter is not unique, the plot is. After many years in France, Lance has become fluent in French, and learns the value of artwork with the help of Walter Chrysler who teaches Lance how to bargain for art, and enhance his own collection. They are learning English so I was able to discuss these beautiful pictures in detail with size as the main objective for the first read. I got a nice feel for the characters and found them very likable.
